It's Alive!

Tacoma VZN170 I finished my install last night. Both valve cover breathers were connected into a catch can. I cut a 9" piece of 3" aluminum pipe to replace the stock airbox, to use a large cone filter. (I still need to get some shielding around the filter, so it doesn't suck on hot engine bay air.) Here are a few pictures:
My MAP-ECU2 was still on the old firmware, and had only ever learned fuel from the stock MAF sensor in learning mode. I thought about first upgrading its firmware, but I thought, "ahh, let's just see if it starts." So I hopped in and started cranking. As soon as the fuel pressure came up, the engine started. Yes! It even idled happily on the new 318cc injectors without me ever having tuned for them. I let it idle a while, then shut it down. I installed MAP CAL2 v3.1.3, upgraded the MAP ECU2 firmware, then loaded the included 5vzfe config. I decreased fuel by 30% (238cc -> 318cc), changed to the external GM 3-bar MAP sensor (the -24 to 24 version), set IAT and BARO auto adjusts, set the throttle voltages, and wrote the config to the ECU2. I started it again, letting it idle up to warm up temp. It drives GREAT before I get into boost. Once the boost comes on, it feels pig rich (I gotta get the wideband re-wired). Of course, I have an upgraded pump too, not just larger injectors, so I'll need to do quite a bit of tuning. Having a freshly rebuilt supercharger, new injectors, new plugs, new wires, and a new timing belt have really smoothed things out.
